NEWS RELEASE – 23rd February 2018

Mach7 – Global Bike Launch at the London Bike Show

British company Mach7 bikes launch at Excel in London this weekend with four high specification carbon bikes at affordable prices. The line-up is headed by the super-aero Aeroblade models, available with either direct mount or hydraulic disc brakes. For those looking for a more relaxed position the new Ascendi is a beautiful lightweight bike, with a frame weighing just 820 grams. For the more adventurous, the Gravelo provides freedom from the road, onto gravel and bridleways.

All of the Mach7 bikes are available in the same stunning hand-painted design, in three colour schemes: Satin Copper, Jade Green Candy or the Black Edition in raw carbon matte finish. Only 100 of each painted colourway will be produced in each model, ensuring every bike is from a limited edition. For an additional £395, cyclists can order any bike with their own custom colour of choice, for a personal one-off machine.

NFC technology has also been integrated for the first time, by embedding a security chip under the paintwork to give a tamperproof yet visible method of identifying each bike with a smartphone. The chip enables the owner or police to access serial numbers, data about the bike build and ownership history.

Each model is available as either a frameset or built with the latest Shimano group-sets ranging from 105 through to Dura-ace Di2. All bikes have Mach7 carbon aero clincher wheelsets, lightweight KRU carbon aero handlebars and exquisite detailing. Prices start at £2,595 including home delivery.

Mach7 bikes are only available online at ensuring that prices are as competitive as possible. In order to provide confidence and comfort to customers, each bike comes with a 60 day money-back guarantee or swap-out, unlimited lifetime frame warranty, and crash replacement scheme for wheels and frame.

Jon Parker, CEO is an ex Grand Prix race engineer, and passionate cyclist said “I’m lucky enough to have ridden and owned some true superbikes, so wondered if it was possible to provide amazing bikes to club-level riders at a price most people could afford. The result we believe gives cyclists some of the best handling, most beautiful bikes they’ll ever see - hand painted and built here in the UK. We’ve backed that up with cast-iron guarantees and warranties, because the only way we can be as price competitive as we are is by selling direct.”
