CONDITIONS OF SALE
- All entries to be penned for inspection by 5pm.
- The inspectors will inspect all entries to ensure all identification is correct and corresponds with the entry submitted unless a substitute is presented.
- Sheep will be sold in Euro. Buyers will be charged a fee of the sale price in accordance with the terms and conditions of the mart selling criteria.
- No rams will be sold for under €250. No opening bid will be less than €150.
- All sheep will be sold in the order which they appear in the catalogue.
- All animals are sold as they stand and the purchaser is deemed to have examined the animal, and is fully satisfied about the integrity of the animal prior to bidding and possibly purchasing same.

EUROSTARS EXPLAINED
Lambplus is the new sheep performance scheme being serviced by ‘Sheep Ireland’ the sheep section of ICBF. At the present time it evaluates sheep on three traits that relate to profitability in sheep. They are Meat Production, Maternal & Lambing. They are measured in Eurostars. Eurostars help give an instant indication as to where an index for a particular animal places it compared to all other animals within its breed.

**** 4 Stars:Top 60 – 80%
***3 Stars:40 – 60%
**2 Stars:Bottom 20 – 40%
*1 Star :Bottom 20%
Guidelines about how to use the Eurostars
Ram Purchasers should:
- Identify what aspects of their flocks performance they would like the ram to improve in their flock i.e Production, Maternal, Lambing Sub-Index
- Select those rams that have at least 4 Eurostars for the desired Sub- Index(s)
- Pay attention to the accurcy % of the Eurostars at all times.
- The selected Ram should of course meet the Purchasers requirements from a visual viewpoint.
- The Eurostar figures should be used as a tool to help in the selection process. The higher the Accuracy of the figures the more they can be relied upon.
