Welcome to the Class of 2018!

We look forward to meeting you this fall!

This page will give you some specific information about Freshman Orientation and School events throughout the year.

Freshman Orientation:

August 25, 2014

9:00 am – 12:30 pm

The purpose of Freshman Orientation is to both help our incoming Freshman class acclimate to their new school culture and have positive affects on change in existing culture relating to academic achievement and school life. Luther Burbank High School hopes to continue positive growth in their students and help students develop positive images in how they see themselves at LBHS.

To meet this mission, Freshman Orientation for 2014 will include the following goals:

  • Learn LBHS traditions
  • Become familiar with the campus
  • Getting to know each other and developing a “voice” as a class.
  • Introduction/Overview of how student activities work
  • Understand Small Learning Communities
  • Be a Difference in LBHS School Culture

Once a Freshman has attended Orientation, we hope they will continue their growth in their “TITAN Pride” in being LBHS students who value honesty, integrity, have love of learning, become real thinkers, and be ready to make their mark as a Freshman at Luther Burbank High.

  • NOTE – Freshman will also get some very cool swag to start their year, plus all Freshmen will take their school pictures as part of Orientation. This event is not to be missed!
  • Freshman Orientation is very important part of every Freshman’s development and transition into the high school environment and we hope every Freshman will attend!
