JOB TITLE:UK Director

JOB STATUS:Full-time

REPORTS TO:Tim Innes – International Director (UK, Europe, Africa)

Position Based in UK – Ability to travel

PURPOSE:Give leadership to the Luis Palau Associations ministry in the United Kingdom. The Director will be responsible to lead the ministry and create a plan to increase visibility of LPA within the UK Church. In addition to this the Director will also network with leaders to determine good opportunities for unified citywide outreach.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. A Christian and in agreement with the LPA Statement of Faith and mission.
  2. Possess a passion for evangelism and church unity.
  3. Ability to network at a high level with all levels of UK church and business leaders.
  4. Strong leader and self-starter.
  5. Good at connecting details and timelines and getting tasks accomplished.
  6. Ability to travel as needed to facilitate the goals of the ministry.
  7. Gifted in relating across denominational lines and developing unity.
  8. Excellent relational and communication skills.
  9. Administrative and Management skills.
  10. Professional attitude and appearance. Teachable spirit, a heart for God, and a servant’s heart.
  11. Resident in UK.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Network with senior church and business leaders across the UK with a view to representing LPA and responding to potential opportunities for Mission.
  1. Create a donor development strategy that increases the visibility of the ministry and grows the prayer/financial support for the work across the UK/Europe. This will include a focus on churches, indivduals and foudations.
  1. Direct Palau Festivals in the UK.
  1. Liaise with strategic ministry partners to build collaborative opportunities for ministry.
  1. Present vision and goals of LPA to church leaders in UK. Speak in local churches as opportunities arise and help promote recruitment of mission teams from UK churches for Caribbean and Africa Festivals.
  1. Be willing to travel both within UK and internationally as needed to learn and contribute to the wider ministry objectives of LPA globably.
  1. Report progress to LPA leadership and give updates to the UK Board.
  1. Work with the US office to build an online presence for the ministry in the UK that allows the church to engage more intentionally with the ministry.
