I would like to start off by thanking all of you who attended the District Meeting at our lodge on Aug 18th. We had over 60 members present. It was a very successful meeting. We would like to see more of you at our monthly meetings. LOOM meets the lst and 3rd Wednesdays and WOTM meets the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month. I also again want to thank our employees and volunteers for their outstanding performance and support they continually give us. As we all know school is back in session in Citrus County and more of our children will be out and about, so be safe, be alert and drive carefully. We have something happening every day at the MOOSE so stop by and enjoy a cold one or just say “Hello,”

WOTM SENIOR REGENT –CHERYL BRETT
Hello Ladies – I’m your new Senior Regent. I was originally the Jr. Regent, but Judi had to resign due to health issues and I volunteered to step up. I have been a WOTM member since 2012, originally in the West Volusia Chapter; but then transferred to our Chapter when we moved here. I’ve never held an Officer position but I promise to do my very best to make our Chapter shine. This Sat – Sept 1st the women will be cleaning and organizing our storage room, stop by to say hello. We are also collecting school supplies for Crystal River Elementary, so all donations will be appreciated. We plan on presenting them the 2nd week of Sept. Don’t forget our Labor Day basket as it will be given away on Monday-Labor Day! October 13th we will be holding a “Flea Market” in the banquet hall from 9AM til 1PM. Ready to dispose of those unwanted items? No item is too small… Stop by and volunteer an hour of your time to help sell. All proceeds go to Mooseheart/Moosehaven. Lastly our Chapter is always looking for better membership participation. Join us for one of our meetings on the 2nd and 4th Wed of the month, the meetings don’t usually last more than one hour. See How you can help or contribute with our monthly projects. You can make a difference!

Greetings Fellow Members… Finally the summer is coming to an end and with your support we have survived! We appreciate your support with our monthly raffles and we have a great one planned for September. It will be a 4 hour fishing or scalloping trip for two, good for one year. Tickets will be $5.00 a piece or 3/$10. They will go on sale Sat, Sept 2nd and will be given away the last Friday of September when Solid Gold plays. Good things happening – stay tuned!
