Generate scope of work

Generate material needs list

Using the Lowe’s Commercial Services sheet.

Fill in the three blanks at the top of the page. House Captain name, HC contact number and house number.

Go shopping at the store

List the item number, description and quantity on the sheet provided. Be sure you have the correct item number that often denotes the quantity.

Remember that we are trying to stretch our resources as far as possible when selecting materials.

Take list to the commercial sales desk; ask for Larry Cordell or Lyle McQueen Smith. Larry is on site Monday through Friday from 6am to 3pm. Lyle is on site Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. They can be reached at 503.737.3028. If you’re shopping during different hours you can fax the order to Larry at 503.737.3003.

They will create a “project estimate”. A computer generated order list.

You will need the following information to give to the commercial sales people.

Contact or account name – Rebuilding Together Portland

Rebuilding Together Portland phone number, 503.943.7515.

House number of the project you are working on.

Review the “project estimate and confirm your selections with the computer generated descriptions for accuracy.

Leave with a copy of the “project estimate”, mark the items needed prior to the work day, include your name and contact number then fax it to 503-943-7322.

OR

If you do your shopping at a Lowes store other than the Hayden Meadows store you need to make sure that the “project estimate” gets faxed to Larry or Lyle. The people at the commercial or pro desk will do that for you.
