Action Item 4.1: Attach Elizabeth Kruzel January 25th email to the January minutes

Hello Laura, Hazel and Jason,

I am very sorry, but I won’t be able to attend today’s meeting due to personal matters.

I will certainly be at the next meeting as LCBO values its participation in the group. I will flow a variety of information in the meantime to update the group on a number of LRADG-related supports since last I attended a meeting and a number of future initiatives.

Jason, thank you for your e-mail yesterday afternoon and questions concerning production and dissemination of the LRADG brochures. LCBO continues to produce the brochures (English and French) as partnership support to CCSA and CAMH and to further assist with the collective work to promote awareness and encourage uptake of low risk drinking. We resupply the store network several times a year and receive requests for inventory from health units, hospitals, health care providers and provide inventory to CCSA and CAMH. LCBO would greatly appreciate PHO’s assistance with another round of promotion to health units. Jason, great if we could talk about this by phone next week.

One related update I’d ask you to share with the group today is that we assisted CCSA by purchasing full page ads on their behalf in the English and French issues of the holiday 2014 issue of Food & Drink for an LRADG holiday themed ad and we are now collaborating on another full page ad in the Early Summer issue.

Elizabeth
