LOUNGE – The clock does not buzz in the lounge to remind us of the time and/or the end of lunch, etc. / JB / WORK HAS BEEN WRITTEN
LOUNGE The sink in the hallway should have warm/hot water. We have had to wash community serving pieces and silverware in cold water as we have attempted to clean up after breakfast and the recent parties. / JB, TM / WORK HAS BEEN WRITTEN
LOWER LEVEL FACULTY WASHROOMS – There was a problem with water on the floor at the beginning of the year. Since the problem was fixed, the floors in both rooms have not been well cleaned and not been waxed. The area behind the toilets looks bad. / JB / Don will wax and polish
LOWER LEVEL FACULTY WASHROOMS One washroom still needs to have a floor tile replaced. / JB /

UPPER LEVEL FACULTY WASHROOMS – Neither washroom has an exhaust fan. Both rooms need a working fan. / JB / Work Order- John
UPPER LEVEL FACULTY WASHROOMS Also the grates for the exhaust fans need to be cleaned more than just during the summer as it attracts and collects dust and particles that can breed mold, etc. / JB / Will be dusted daily
UPPER LEVEL FACULTY WASHROOMS The floors in both of these washrooms look terrible. The floors in the students’ washrooms were cleaned, but the floors here have not. / JB / These were ground down over summer. This is best they will be
UPPER LEVEL FACULTY WASHROOMS sinks have paint stuck on them from summer painting. Also the sinks do not look clean. They are dingy and need to be better cleaned to remove this dirty film / JB / SINKS ARE AS CLEAN AS THEY WILL BE- THEY ARE OLD
THE LRC – The fire escape stairway needs to be cleaned and swept well, especially the build-up of cobwebs high above the doorway. / JB / Jamie will fix

THE LRC There are two noticeable dirt spots on the carpet in front of the Caroline’s portion of the desk. They should be cleaned before they get worse. / JB / Don completed during conferences
THE LRC Roof “paint/tar” leaked through the roof and dribbled down the wall in the NE corner of the old ESL room, near the data drop box and the electrical outlet. This should be cleaned up and/or painted over. / JB / Don completed during conferences
COMPUTER LAB - There is one noticeable dirt spot on the carpet you notice as you enter the room. It should be cleaned before it gets worse. / JB / Don completed during conferences
COMPUTER LAB There are dirty ceiling tiles near the east end of the windows. These should be replaced. We will need to watch this area in case these stained tiles indicate a leak in the roof. / JB /

COMPUTER LAB “Something” dribbled down the wall in the lab, between the entrance door and the window to the LRC. This should be cleaned up. / JB / Don completed during conferences
THE CRAWL SPACE under the primary wing contains lots of old student desks and who knows what other junk. Jamie says the stuff has been there since before he came to work here. It is just MY OPINION that these items should be trashed and that area should be cleaned out. / JB / Building and grounds decision to store materials in this space.
HEATER COVER IN THE LOWER HALL across from the Custodial Office is missing. It should be replaced. / JB / Jamie is in the process of taking this unit off of the wall.
ROOF FAN IN THE PRIMARY HALLWAY – In the hot humid weather during September, Hot humid air poured into the primary hallway through the ceiling grate outside of rooms 1, 2, 3, and 4. Jamie said there is something that was to be replaced on the roof. Has this been done? If not, I have concerns about the cold winds of winter blowing into that hallway. / JB / Jamie replaced grates-.
Roof work was completed.
FLOOR TILE – There are some broken, chipped floor tiles at the hallway door into the gym office. These tiles should be replaced. / JB
GIRLS’ BATHROOMS – All three of the girls’ bathroom floors look bad below the sink area. The dirt/stain on the floor traces the outline of the sink itself. I have not looked in the boys’ bathrooms to see if the same problem appears there. How should this floor be cleaned to prevent this from happening? / JB / These were ground out during the summer. This is the best they are going to look.
GIRLS’ BATHROOMS The lower level girls’ bathroom has a grate for an exhaust fan, but I do not hear a fan running in this windowless room. Should there be a working exhaust fan? The Intermediate girls’ bathroom has a working fan. The primary bathroom has a working fan. I did not check the boys’ bathrooms. / JB / There is a fan in that room which is working properly.
GIRLS’ BATHROOMS The handles on the inside of the doors for the girls’ bathrooms feel awful - sticky and dirty. I think they should be well cleaned/disinfected daily. (Boys’ bathroom door handles too.) / JB / Will be completed on daily basis by part time custodians.
CAGED CEILING FANS – Many rooms, including the LRC, still have those large ceiling fans. Were the blades cleaned during the summer? / JB / Don cleaned- will be replaced when possible. Next summer?
COPY ROOM – The valance needs to be put up above the window. / JB / There isn’t a valance. A valance needs to be purchased.
WINDOW CLEANING – The glass by the front door needs to be cleaned on a regular basis since it gives a first impression of Edgewood to visitors. The glass on the display case could also use a cleaning periodically. / JB / Jamie will clean above the windows. Help from part timers and Don may be needed.
STAIR RAILINGS – I believe the stairway railings should be washed/disinfected regularly. / JB / Will be added to part timers lists to do on a regular basis.
LOUNGE – The wall above the refrigerators has peeling paint. This area of the wall is also two different colors. / JB / Jamie will be completing this week
ROOM 17 – The laminate is damaged and peeling off the cabinet and closet doors. / JB / Need to wait until there is money to purchase a new cabinet.
BASEBOARDS – Baseboards should be dusted regularly and checked to be sure they are not coming unglued. The baseboard near the front door, by the LRC, needs to be re-glued. / JB / Can be added to part timers to do list.
UPSTAIRS FACULTY WASHROOM OFF THE HALLWAY – Tar/paint from the roof has dripped on the wall just above the doorway. It should be cleaned or painted over. / JB / Don completed this during conferences.
ROOM 11 End piece to cap wood near window behind desk / GM / Jamie will work order.
ROOM 11 Install TV and VCR on wall / Jamie will work order.
ROOM 15 American Flag / MR / Jamie will move flag from lounge to Melissa’s room.
