Louisiana Tour Box

Directions: Gaither the materials required then do the steps of the project in order.

·  Small shoe box

·  Pencil colors

·  Black Ink

·  Travel brochures

·  Artifacts (real or fake) [from Spanish moss to silverware to bits of clothing to…]

Then: Place your name on the bottom of the shoe box then place a large photo on the outside of the shoe box (may be from the internet) so that other students will be able to guess what is on the inside. On the top place the words “Guess what I found/saw?” Place several full brochures about the place featured on the inside, also place items that “might” have come from that location, things that you might have picked up from the location then write a BRIEF report about the location and/or artifacts you chose (One to two paragraphs [3-5 sentences per paragraph]). You may add a few photos if you have them to the collection.

The box SHOULD entice your classmate to visit and tour the site you chose.
