Disposal of Translink Vehicles

Lot 1, 5 xVolvo B10M Plaxton Coaches

Lot 2, 5 x Volvo B10L low Floor Buses

Lot 3, 1 X Ayats Double Deck Coach

At the present time Translink have available fordisposal the following Translink Vehicles, Lot 1, 5 x Volvo B10M Plaxton Coaches,Lot 2, 5 x Volvo B10L low Floor Buses and Lot 3, 1 X Ayats Double Deck Coach. Vehicle specifications are attached

The vehicles (11 off) are currently located at the following Translink Duncrue St, Belfast premises;allwill be sold as seen. It is anticipated that Vehicles will be available for removal from July 2013.

Completed Tenders for the acquisition and removal from site of these vehicles should be addressed to:

Translink reserve the right to award all, individual or none of lots advertised

Translink do not own the tyres. The cost of purchasing the tyres can be provided to tenderers.

For tenders to be successful, the following conditions must be met:

  • Vehicles are sold as seen Translinkprovides no guarantees on their operational condition..Translink do not accept responsibility for any existing defect or any defects which may become apparent after sale or any injury caused by defect.
  • Payment must be received in full prior to the removal of the vehicles.
  • Vehicles are being disposed of in complete Lots.
  • Translink will not be in position to offer technical or operational support for these vehicles when sold.
  • Access to site for removal of vehicles will be during normal business hours only.
  • Translink will not provide personnel or equipment to facilitate the removal of vehicles, this will be the responsibility of the successful bidder
  • All costs of disposal will be the sole responsibility of the successful bidder
  • Any activities undertaken by the successful bidder at the Translink site would be at the bidders risk
  • The purchaser must arrange for the safe removal and transportation of the vehicle to his premises.
  • All reference to Translink/Ulsterbus must be removed from the vehicle at the earliest opportunity.

  • Batch of 5 Coaches
  • Vehicle Type:- Volvo B10M
  • Body Make:- Plaxton Excalibur
  • Year:- 1999
  • Seats:- 49 seats plus Toilet (2 vehicles), 53 seats (3 vehicles)
  • Coaches have been used on a variety of Ulsterbus Services including Goldline Express Services.

Lot 3..Ayats Bravo Double Deck Coach

  • One Double Deck Coach
  • Vehicle Type:- Ayats
  • Body Make:- Bravo
  • Year:- 1999
  • Seats:- 75 Seats
  • Coach has been used on Ulsterbus and Citybus Tours, Private Hire and Express Services.
  • Fitted with multi lingual audio system (installed new in 2010)
