LOSE OR CONSEQUENCES
RULES OF CONTEST
- The Chapter is divided into two teams. Teams have been selected by the leader based on counting members’ losses over 3 weeks & fairly placing members on the two teams. Since there is an uneven member count at start, the most consistent KOPS will toggle weeks between the two teams.
- First pre-start contest meeting, each team will(1) choose their team captain and (2)pick their team name. Members will receive their list of questions and rules will be explained.
- Starting week and subsequent weeks, each team captain will pick a question out of the “Lose or Consequences” slots and ask each member of their team, who weighs in, if their answer is yes or no. (Absent team members during the draw and question/answer time forfeit their play, except for the weight loss question if they came in)
- If answers are “yes”, the member gets 1 point for their team. If all members of the team present answer yes, and attend the entire meeting, the team will reap a bonus of 10 points. If any member on the team leaves meeting early after question and answer, the team’s bonus will be 5 points.
- The list of questions will be given to each team member.
- The contest will start ______and end with the ______meeting----eight weeks.
- The team with the most points will win. The answers to contest questions will be on the honor system. PLEASE BE HONEST.
- The losing team will have a consequence to bear. Losing team will plan and implement a fun activity for winning team.

Do your best to be prepared each week
- 1. Did you exercise at least 3 times last week?
- 2. Did you contact at least 3 Tops members last week? (Phone calls, US mail, or visit.) (Not the same member 3 times. )
- 3. Did you write down all food eaten last week?
- 4. Are you staying for the entire meeting this morning? (From the start to the finish.)
- 5. Did you think about your weight goals every day last week? (First thing in the morning is a good time for this or before meals is a good time.)
- 6. Did you plan your food every day for the week and stick to it? (If you planned for a treat that would be okay.) (If you changed one protein for another or one veggie for another, with same quantities and values, without extras, that would be ok.)
- 7. Did you give someone a smile OR a hug every day last week? (Smiles and hugs are 100% returnable and produce great results.)
- 8. Did you lose weight, OR turtle today? (Kops above goal must lose for 1 point; at or below goal, 2 points.)
