2015 NPA GRAND NATIONAL SPECIALITY CLUB AGREEMENT
HOSTED BY THE LOS ANGELES PIGEON CLUB
The Los Angeles Pigeon Club (LAPC) would like to invite your specialty club to be a part of the 2015 NPA Grand National Pigeon Show. The show will be held on January 29-31, 2015 at the Ontario Convention Center,in Ontario, California.
- THE LAPC WILL PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING BENEFITS TO YOUR SPECIALITY CLUB:
(1)Free publicity in all local and national advertising.
(2)Space at no charge in the 2015 NPA Grand National Premium Book, that will be published and distributed prior to the show. The premium book is your clubs opportunity to announce your clubs judge, awards, or special activities connected to the show.
(3)Space in the NPA Show Report following the show announcing your breeds show results, an article, as well as, photos covering your breed and clubs activites at this yearshistoric show.
(4)A one dollar ($1.00) per bird rebate for all entries in your breed. Rebates will be sent directly to your club at the completion of the show. (Providing your club has met all of the requirements of this agreement). The LAPC requests that your specialty club inform us to whom, and where, your club would like their rebate check sent.
(5)Security throughout the show provided by the LAPC and the Ontario Convention Center.
(6)Personnel to help with the feeding and watering of your birds on a daily basis.
- YOUR SPECIALITY CLUB MUST COMPLY TO THE FOLLOWING:
(1)Provide a judge for your breed(s) at no cost to the NPA or the LAPC.
(2)Provide a clerk and stewards to help during your judging.
(3)Submit a completed show report following the judging with your breed(s) results. Listing to include the winners and exhibitors in a format requested by the NPA.*REMINDER: Only NPA banded birds should be entered.
(4)A breed/club coordinator who will be in complete charge of your breed(s) section during the show. Said coordinator will insure your breed(s) judging is completed and the membership of your specialty club, and other exhibitors in your breed(s),abide by the NPA show rules. The show rules will be published in the 2015 NPA Grand National Premium Book and a copy will be on hand at the LAPC and NPA desks at the show.
(5)Help in making sure your breed champion(s) are photographed by the show photographer after yourjudging is completed.
(6)Provide at least one (1) person from your specialty club, FOR EVERY ONE HUNDRED (100) BIRDS ENTERED IN YOUR BREED, to help with tear down on Sat. January 31, 2015, before leaving the show hall.
(7)Specialty clubs must insure that all birds exhibited in their breed remain until the close of the show on Saturday, January 31, 2015. Once the finaljudging of the Parade of Champions is completed there will be an announcement made as to when the birds may be boxed. This will beat approx. 4:00 PM.A second announcement will be made when the birds can be removed from the show hall, at approx. 5:00 PM. This will occur once it is determined that no birds are missing or wereboxed by mistake.
* FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THESE REQUIREMENTS COULD RESULT IN YOUR SPECIALTY CLUB FORFEITING A PART, OR ALL, OF THE ENTITLED REBATE YOUR CLUB WAS EXPECTING TO RECEIVE.
Consider being a part of the 2015 NPA Grand National Show. Sign this agreement and return it to the show secretary, Fred Maenpa, ASAP. Include any information your club would like printed in the 2015 NPA Grand National Premium Book. We plan to begin sending them out around the first of September. The entry deadline for the 2015 NPA Grand National is January 5, 2015 with and entry fee of $5.50 per bird for NPA members and $6.50 per bird for “non” NPA members. Juniors (17 years or younger) may enter their birds for only $3.50 per bird. *NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE EXCEPTED.
