· Angela (Micro 20) – status – In progress
· Biology 110 – Pierce College has no desire to “partner” with Mission but will obviously accept our students into this course at Pierce. Do we want to add this course?

· Current Status – Steve will finalize it within the next two weeks.
5) Biology 3 Hybrid Course
· Current Status of Par Certification – Completed
· Process through Curriculum to add Biology 3 as a DE Course? – BIO3 has to receive approval for the update first.
· Plan to offer Biology 3 as DE course in Fall 14? What will she teach? Biology 6? Mike: Par will teach BIO3 hybrid, Steve will teach BIO7, Angela will teach BIO 6, and Mike will teach BIO3.
6) Outdoor Lab for Biology 3 – no update
· Current status?
7) Classroom/Lab/Prep Room – Status of Issues- Who is following up on these issues? Mike?
· Student workers – Pong and Nadine each have a worker ($5,000 from Supply fund)
· Shower Issue
· Eyewash pressure too low
· Evacuation plan
· Discuss the possibility of a cold room?
· Shelves in the lab: Edwin to work with Steve/Pong; Steve and I to assist if needed
· Need to brace equipment to walls (Josh C. has ordered)
· Paper towel dispensers in lab
· No cold water in the labs

· Waste baskets in the rooms (Pong and Nadine to assess and report)
· Status of faculty/staff bathrooms (Par) – WEC/Danny V. (Spring 2013): Due of the low number of bathrooms and the student/staff ratio, the single bathrooms can not be assigned only to staff. Remove from agenda
· Bookcases bolted to walls in offices
· Will we get new file cabinets?
8) AV in Life Science Labs
· Pong to order rechargeable batteries with appropriate chargers for the microphones. Done – Can be removed from the agenda
9) More efficiency in the labs (RE: $) no update

Gap exists in pipettors – suggestion to get 2 more P100s (10-100 ml; $288 ea)
Dry baths do not have blocks (~$100 each x 8)

Would be nice to have some flat boards for display
Axiolab cameras to be checked upon visit of Zeiss rep
11) New hires

· Dr. Arthur Gribben is following the process needed to be able to offer an online Anthropology course. Coast Learning Systems and @One seminar.
