1.  Convene regular meeting / Wendy Bass and Adriana Barrera, Chairpersons, started the meeting at

STANDING TASK FORCE/CIO REPORT
3.  Tech Master Plan update:
/ BOT approved Tech Master Plan on March 9th at meeting at Harbor. / Next phase to start implementation task force. David B is going to send out a request to senators for volunteers. Velma Butler has been contacted for a staff guild representative.
Meeting plan was discussed – Meetings will occur every other week for three hours. During the first meeting, a regular schedule of meetings will be created.
4.  Searchable Database / This is for DE courses so students can search for an open DE course without going to each individual college. Jorge Mata has assigned this project to Quiang Dang who is spearheading the creation of the searchable database.
Are looking at have the students home school DE courses appear first and then if any of those courses are full, would search for another school within the district with openings.
This project is on hold while SIS demonstrations are occurring.
5.  SIS / Vendor demonstrations occurring. Over 160 faculty/staff/administrators participating in the demos. Participants MUST attend the same session topic from both vendors in order for their scores to be counted.
Visits will be made to Northern CA and Orange Coast College to interview colleges using the systems.
6.  DTC Update / Mark Henderson shared DTC Goals/Objectives
a. Develop/modify district technology standards and/or policies, as necessary. Multiple technology standards have already been developed and completed for bond projects.
b. Develop district-wide deployment timeline for Windows 7, Exchange 2010, and MS Office 2010.
c. District-wide migration from Symantec AntiVirus to Microsoft Forefront AntiVirus. This initiative will eliminate continual operating costs of Symantec renewal and realize cost savings.
d. District policy - use of personal devices to access district resources (TPPC/DTC joint solution).
e. Develop district-wide training strategy for all IT personnel.
f. Pursue an enterprise support agreement with Microsoft.
g. Joint meeting with TPPC.
