Lord, you have lead us through good and bad times. Lord Have Mercy.
Lord, you have given us life to live to the fullest. Christ Have Mercy.
Lord, you have revealed to us your Sacred Heart. Lord Have Mercy.
Opening Prayer

Celebrant: God who loves us, you give us our human emotions. Through the power of your Son and the Holy Spirit, may we use our gift of Love for the good of others. We ask this through Jesus, our Lord.

All: Amen.

First Reading: Ezekiel 34: 11-15

For thus says the Lord GOD: I myself will look after and tend my sheep.

I will lead them out from among the peoples and gather them from the foreign lands.

In good pastures will I pasture them, and on the mountain heights of Israel shall be their grazing ground. There they shall lie down on good grazing ground, and in rich pastures shall they be pastured on the mountains of Israel.

I myself will pasture my sheep; I myself will give them rest, says the Lord GOD.

This is the Word of the Lord.

All: Thanks be to God.

Responsorial Psalm

Response: The LORD is my shepherd; there is nothing I shall want.

In green pastures you let me graze; to safe waters you lead me. R

You restore my strength. You guide me along the right path for the sake of your name. R

Even when I walk through a dark valley, I fear no harm for you are at my side; your rod and staff give me courage. R

You set a table before me as my enemies watch; You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. R
