JR Hildebrand Starts in Row Three

Chatham, New Jersey (May 22, 2014) - JR Hildebrand is not giving up on his dreams of an Indianapolis 500 win. Taking the ninth spot in the pole position in the Fast Nine shootout with an average speed of 230.027 mph proves to his fans that he has a victory on his mind.

Driving for Ed Carpenter Racing in the Preferred Freezer Services No. 21 car, JRis getting another chance to win the Indianapolis 500. The Californian had the 2011 race in his grasp and narrowly missed first place.

While some drivers would have settledfor second-best or given up after a setback, JR is back this year as cool as one can be. During practice earlier this week with his teammate Ed Carpenter, who won his second pole in a row this weekend, JR posted a top speed
of 226.232 mph.
