11. Carol sat quietly in the tent door, listening to the different forest sounds.
12. She couldn’t see the animals around her. But their sounds caused her to make
pictures in her mind.
13. She imagines animals hunting for their food. She can picture them racing softly
across the forest floor. Could some of those noises be birds flying among the trees?
14. Carol is so frightened and she just closes the flap of the tent and crawls back into her
