The Department of Occupational Therapy in the Byrdine F. Lewis College of Nursing and Health Professions at Georgia State University(GSU) in Atlantainvites applications for three 9-month tenure track positions (preferably specializing in Clinical Administration/Leadership, Neurological Rehabilitationand/or Community Practice) all at the rank of Assistant Professors.These positionsintegrate the roles of teacher, researcher and scholarly practitioner within the Occupational Therapy program and provides opportunity for inter-professional collaboration across an array of health care professions and beyond. The ideal candidates will have experience as a teacher, researcher and practitioner in the field of Occupational Therapy. Successful candidates will also participate fully in the life of the university, activities of the department, Lewis College of Nursing and Health Professions, and continued development and accreditation of the program.

Minimum requirements for tenure track positions include a research doctoral degree in occupational therapy or related field with concentration in one of following areas a) neuro rehabilitation and motor control, b) clinical administration and leadership with emphasis on big data analysis, and/or c) community practice. Post-doctoral experience, an established line of research with publications, and external funding experience are preferred.

All positions require at least 5 years of clinical practice as an occupational therapist, NBCOT certification and a current license to practice as an OT in the State of Georgia at the time of appointment.
