Minutes of Board of Directors Meeting

March 10, 2016

Date: March 10, 2016

Time: 7:00 p.m.

Location: East Lake Fire Rescue Station 57

1. Call to order

Cheryl Butler called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

2. Roll Call of Directors present

The roll was called and Directors present were Dave Wandel, Mike Oddo and Dave Roby. Brian Grey was absent and excused.Cheryl Butler, LCAM of Management andAssociates acted as recordingSecretary.

3. Proof of Notice of Meeting or Waiver of Notice – Notice of the meeting was posted.

4. Officers/Manager’sReports

  1. PRESIDENT’S Report – New signs have been made. There were problems with these new signs at first and after several trips to the sign company if was discovered that the issue was with the dry erase pen that was being used. This matter has now been rectified.
  2. TREASURER’S Report – Since the Treasurer was absent the Manager reviewed the monthly financial and spoke of the current delinquent accounts.
  3. VICE-PRESIDENT’S Report – None
  4. MANAGER’S Report –None

5. Committee’s Reports – None

6. Unfinished Business– Fish Barrier-a proposal was submitted but we are waiting on others as this one appears to be expensive. The jasmine that had died in the front will be replaced within the next few day and the irrigation system has now been fixed.

7. New Business –Discussion was held in regards to conditions of the home and the pit bull dogs at 2437 Saddlewood Lane. Several county departments have contacted regarding this matter and the only department that responded favorably was the health department. It has been reported to the Board that the owner is an elderly man who is not able to take care of himself and has his son living there with him. There are several items of interest on the arrest records of the son. It has been reported that the interior of the house is worse than the exterior

of the house. There are also 2 Dalmatians and 2 Pit Bulls that reside at this home. The pit bulls are escaping through the fence in the back of the home and have attacked at least one man and knocked over a nanny. The dogs have been reported to animal control but without them seeing them there is little that they can do. The manager will call an emergency meeting with the Board and the association attorney to discuss this matter. The board will attempt to have the Sheriff’s office to attend also.

12. Date and Time of next meeting – The next meetingwill be the Annual Meeting to be held on Thursday, April 21 at 7:00 pm.

13. Adjournment– There being no further business to come before the Board, it was

ON MOTION to adjourn the meeting at 7:59p.m.
