LLOYDS TSB’s NEWPORT CONTACT CENTRE ON A RECRUITMENT DRIVE

Lloyds TSB’s modern telephone contact centre based in Newport is looking for talented and customer focused telephone agents to join the centre’s existing committed team, based in offices in Tredegar Park, Newport.

Newport contact centre is one of the Bank’s six main contact centres in the UK, which include Glasgow, Sunderland, Newcastle, Bridgend, and Swansea.

Originally opened in 1994, the centre has continued to grow. It is now looking to employ another 30 staff per month, on average, and is working with the Bank’s preferred suppliers, recruitment agencies, Reed and Adecco based in Cardiff and Newport respectively.

Harry Styles, contact centre manager at Newport, said: “Together with our other contact centres in Wales, based in Bridgend and Swansea, Lloyds TSB is a large employer in South Wales, where together we employ some 1,500 staff. Due to customer demand, we’re expanding our operation here in Newport and we’re looking for friendly people with a flair for customer service to join our excellent team here at Newport.”
