Missions Community: International, National and Local Support
The fourth Tuesday of the month is "our" turn to serve meals at Bon Appétit, the Community Meals Programin Biddeford. Join us on June 23rd, fora worthy and satisfying event.
The UCCDisaster Relief and UMCOR are in need of our help. It will take years tofulfill the needs of theNepal earthquake victims. Moreover, communitiesrecently flooded in Texas and Oklahomaare cleaning up and removing debris and searching forreplacement living accommodations. Locally we have the Good Shepherd Food Bank reaching out for assistance to feed children who have relied on the Federal Free Lunch Program during the school year. When parents are working full time or several jobs for minimum wages it is almost impossible to afford to supply all of a family's needs.
Every $10 given will provide40 meals.
You may use the Disaster Reliefenvelopes in every pew and designate where your donation will be sent.
