  1. ID’s for pre collegiate students

  1. Still deciding if they’ll use munch money or have meal plan
  2. Concurrent students will get a separate card with different design
  • Once students are registered and given cards, more students will not be taken on throughout the year
  1. Orientation update
  1. Switching ID system for orientation because of student growth
  2. Only pictures during morning session, printouts will be done later.
  3. Student employees will spend time printing physical cards which are given out later
  4. This way students and parents will have a better opportunity to talk with ENT
  1. New ID printers
  1. Needing new printer but they are looking more expensive
  • Stacey- New printers are$4200, where before they were$2955.
  • Kirk- Order 4200 printer right away because of orientation, negotiate new price later
  1. Bookstore
  1. Bookstore getting new system
  • Hoping to be done by June
  1. One Account
  1. Working on making only one account for students and faculty members
  • Kirk- Will there be separate cards for staff and students or one card that is the same that shows different title?
  • If swiped will show different groups ie: student, faculty, or staff
  1. Area Updates
  1. Housing- Cleaning swipes, students are having to swipe multiple times to get into buildings.

Missy- A door on the west side of Vail only works during certain hours at night

  1. Dining Services-
  • Custodians entered through kettle creek and into dining facility because door was not properly locked, c store door open and not locking.
  • Kirk- look in logs to see what time it was unlocked
  1. Rec Center-
  • Front card reader still not working very well

  • Will new ISO number be working before orientation?
  • When systems go down will we still be able to print cards?

Tungsten- No will be down for 2 days, May 15 and 16

Stacey- If students put ID card strip close to cell phone will it deactivate?

Alvin - If Ent card is not working for readers all we can do is check ISO number Ent card can’t be re encoded, it has to be reprinted at the UC front desk
