Laura Lynch is a Senior Policy Associate at the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) in Washington, D.C. Prior to joining AILA, Ms. Lynch was an Immigration Attorney and Law Clerk at Berlin & Associates, P.A. She earned her J.D. from University of Baltimore School of Law, and her Bachelor’s Degree from University of Oregon. She is admitted to practice in Maryland and Washington D.C.

Lisa Waters is the Online Editorial Assistant at the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) in Washington, D.C. Lisa earned her J.D. from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Georgia Tech. She is admitted to practice in New York.

Lindsey Gauzzais an Associate at the Office of Cheryl David, where she specializes in removal

defense and family-based immigration. Before joining the Law Office of Cheryl David, Ms.

Gauzza clerked for two years at the New York Immigration Court through the Attorney

General’s Honors Program. She graduated from Temple University School of Law in 2009, and

earned her BA in History from Oberlin College in 2004. Ms. Gauzza is currently co-chair of the NY Chapter District Director Liaison Committee.

Jennifer Durkin is a partner at Durkin & Puri, LLP and has been practicing immigration law for over 18 years. She handles all areas of immigration law, however, she focuses on litigating complex removal court cases, waivers of inadmissibility, criminal/immigration crossover, and family-based matters. Ms. Durkin is currently Chair of AILA’s New York Chapter. She is a graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles School of Law and received her Bachelor of Arts degree from SUNY Buffalo.

NeenaDutta is the principal of the Dutta Law Firm in NYC. Her practice is primarily business, along with naturalization and family based cases. She is currently a Director on the American Immigration Lawyer’s Association’s (AILA) Board of Governors. Previously she served as the AILA NY Chair and has served on a number of national committees and liaised with various government agencies to improve regulatory practices and impact legislative policy. She has worked alongside non-profits and service providers on special projects, such as Citizenship Day, MAP (Military Assistance Program) and DACA Clinics. Ms. Dutta has also represented Pro Bono clients and most recently has spent a week at the CARA Pro Bono Project in Dilley, TX. Ms. Dutta has spoken and written on the topic of immigration law in various venues and conferences. She has previously been recognized as an attorney in theNew York Metro Rising Stars, Super Lawyers and Top Women Attorneys and most recently the SABANY Pro Bono Attorney of the Year (2016).Ms. Dutta graduated from Seattle University in 1997, and earned her Juris Doctor degree from New York Law School in 2003
