Vision
This organization has experienced a rebound of membership, phenomenal attendance at our annual meetings, and most importantly a budget that has gone from being “in the red” to a surplus of funds that we are using to better the organization. The Board worked very hard and made numerous difficult decisions during the “lean years” and has set into motion many procedural and policy changes to set the pace for continuation of AEIRS' growth and prosperity.
Qualifications
I have served the AEIRS in the capacity of Secretary/Treasurer and multiple board positions since 2001.
Goals
I am seeking election as your President for the second time because I would like to offer continuity to these actions that have been set in motion. This is truly an exciting time for AEIRS and I look forward to sharing in the fruition of our goals in 2009 – 2010 as your President.

Vision
I feel that when teaching our students it is important to remember that they worked hard to gain entrance into our programs and work even harder to stay in our programs. Instructors are our student’s first initiation into the field of radiography; we can make the experience wonderful or awful. Having the opportunity to interact and network with other didactic faculty through AEIRS membership is a means to help us grow in our instructional capabilities. We are a group in the minority who should be in the majority. We need to make AEIRS the strongest, most recognized name in radiography instruction.
Qualifications
I have been in the imaging field for 22 years. I have diverse body of knowledge which I bring to the classroom and share with my students every day.
Goals
1. Increase membership to AEIRS.
2. Increase attendance at annual meetings.
3. Encourage current members to become involved in AEIRS.
4. Mentoring new instructional faculty should be something we all strive for.

Vision
I would like to have the AIERS be active in cooperation with State mandated licensure to first discourage merely a “wallet biopsy” that reduces rewards of formal educational programs and serves as an opportunity to ultimately reduce our potential income and secondly not to minimize the ARRT and NMTCB registration and certifications.
Qualifications
I have been in the imaging field since 1967 and have seen and participated in quantum leaps in the technological, managerial and educational areas. I have an MBA from University of Maryland. Thank you for your consideration of me for this opportunity.
Goals
I would like to see AEIRS be more proactive in formalizing the imaging fields as a professional endeavor. I know it will be difficult to change traditions and dichotomies, but change has to start somewhere.

Vision
Motivate radiologic and imaging educators from all disciplines to not only conduct research on radiologic science education but to also create additional educational methodologies specific to our profession to further student achievement.
Qualifications
I have been an educator for my entire career as a radiation therapist from working with students as a staff therapist, to supervising students and staff as a chief therapist and as a program director. During my career spanning thirteen years, I have been involved, in not only education, but also in administration. My experience outside of the educational realm gives me additional perspectives relative to content that should be included in programs so students are prepared for any career path they may choose in the future.
Goals
I would like to create a collaborative effort across disciplines to share educational ideas and methodologies.
