Lincoln Imps Trampoline Club

Dear Parent

Lincoln Imps Trampoline Club extends a warm welcome to you and your family. We hope your child(ren) will enjoy the experience of being involved in the club and learns to trampoline with confidence.

The club will provide your child with high quality trampoline tutition at a child friendly pace, delivered by former (or in some cases current) trampoline gymnasts who have represented the club at regional, national and international level. The structured programme will teach your child to trampoline safely and ensure that they develop confidence and independence in a safe and fun environment.

This letter is aimed at giving you a basic introduction to our club, and is in addition to the website ( If you do have any questions about the club, you are welcome to ask myself, or any of the coaches, however we would request that you do not interrupt the coaching sessions. You may find it easier to phone me on 01 522 510 893 or email on after the sessions to discuss any issues you wish.

We wish for every child to achieve to their fullest potential and are keen to support them in their ambitions. We acknowledge that for some, their ambition may be to trampoline safely and that for others, they have visions of an Olympic medal. We are happy to support every child, our aim if for them to become as passionate about the sport as we are.

Your child(ren) will be assessed as to what level they are currently achieving to place them in the appropriate training squad. They will have the opportunity to achieve proficiency badges, take part in club, county, regional and national competitions as they progress with the club.

Our club is open to all, althrough some of the sessions are solely for national level competitors, adults. Children with disabilities can be supported at all sessions, althrough in addition there are sessions available should they wish to train with their friends.

The timings of sessions are as outlined in the subscriptions form. You will be asked to indicate which sessions you would prefer to attend, however should you be unable to attend a session due to illness/holiday etc, you would be welcome at an alternative session that is appropriate for the skill level.

We recommend that all gymnasts wear leotards, tracksuit bottoms or shorts, training top or T-shirt (which need to be tucked in securely for safety. Socks or trampoline shoes must be worn at all times. No belts/buckles, denim or hoods/hoodies are allowed on the trampolines. We operate a resale rail of leotards which can be purchased or alternatively you may give appropriate items to the coach for resale on this rail. Upon the items being sold, you will receive the sale price, in addition, we have a leotard maker and designer who attends most competitons hosted in the area who provides a wide range of trampoline gymnasts clothing/accessories. She can be contacted at should you have any items you wish to purchase.

Water is the only drink we permit in the trampoline area, as spilt drinks can stain the mats and we would ask that you respect this. In addition in the trampoline area we do not permit outdoor shoes, should you need to go onto the matting area, please remove your outdoor shoes.

The coaches will come over to the seating area at the end of each session should you wish to speak to anyone about your child or their progress. Please do not interrupt a coaching session as your child will be expected to remain with the group until the end of the session.

We hope that you and your family will enjoy being part of our friendly club!

Kind regards
