Archery
Performance Objectives:
The student should be able to:
1. Identify archery equipment
2. Demonstrate safety procedures in the class environment
3. Understand and demonstrate the following archery skills: stance, bow positioning, nock, draw, and aim
4. Successfully complete target shooting at practice sessions
5. Properly remove and retrieve arrows following a shooting session
6. Successfully target shoot from varying distances

Performance Objectives:
The student should be able to:
1. Demonstrate the proper techniques for the various strokes used in the game of badminton
2. Demonstrate an understanding of the strategies and skills in a game situation

4. Pass a written exam on the rules, terminology, & etiquette of badminton
5. Pass a skills test on the proper techniques of the game of badminton

5. Use correct procedures and etiquette when playing on a golf course

Performance Objectives:
The student should be able to:
1. Demonstrate the knowledge necessary to effectively perform events
2. Demonstrate how to run properly and effectively in various events
3. Explain and demonstrate proper warm-up techniques
4. Gain knowledge of scoring and order of events in a track meet

1. Explain the difference between the Eastern and Western grip
2. Explain the purposes of the different strokes used in a game
3. Demonstrate the proper grip and stance for the forehand and back hand strokes

5. Demonstrate the proper technique for serving and perform the serve in a test with at least 50% efficiency
6. Pass a written exam on tennis rules and scoring
