Monday / Little Steps 1.30pm-3pm(term time only)
Parent & baby group for children up to 16 months old or not confidently walking, offering a quality play environment, enabling carers to meet new people and for baby to enjoy the heuristic play and treasure baskets and develop their social, language and literacy skills through song and rhyme.
Tuesday / MAES ESOL Course 9.30am-11.30am
  • Term time only. English course for beginners to start in September. Ask outreach workers for details. Crèche provided.
Healthy Child Drop In 1pm-3pm
  • Baby weighing and advice available from the Health Visiting Team.


Wednesday
/ Eight Month/2 year Development review 9am-12.30pm
  • Every Wednesday by appointment only. Development checks for your baby with Health Visiting Team & information available from Outreach workers.
Stay & Play 1pm-2.45pm (term time only)
  • A group for parents/carers and their children under five, offering activities such as, arts & crafts, outdoor play, story time and sing along. From birth to 5 years old.
First Aid session to be delivered by Fire & Rescue Service on 13th July 1.30pm-2.30pm
  • Basic first aid skills for parents, please contact the centre for more information.
Colouring & Mindfulness session 1-2pm on 17th August
  • Summer craft session for families and children under 5. Please ask reception for more details.
Breastfeeding Group 1pm-3pm
  • This group is aimed at mums-to-be & breastfeeding mums. It offers advice, support and information about breastfeeding in a comfortable & relaxed atmosphere.


Thursday
/ Baby Bliss 9.30am-10.30am
  • Sensory play and massage. Enjoy fun activities together to stimulate your baby’s physical, social & emotional development. Only £1 per session, £2 for non-Manchester Residents. From birth to 9 months old.
Stay & Play 1pm-2.45pm (term time only)
  • A group for parents/carers and their children, offering activities such as, arts & crafts, outdoor play, story time and sing along. From 16 months or confidently walking to 5 years old.
Tai Chi Session on 4th August 1pm -2pm
  • Suitable for children 3 and above older siblings are welcome.
Family Fun Session on 11th August 1pm -3pm
  • Summer fun session. Circus theme. Please contact centre for more information.

Friday
/ CAPS- Parent Survival Course 9.30am-12pm starts from 7th October
  • For parents of children 2-4 years living in the local community. For more information contact the outreach worker.
Postnatal Clinic 12 -2pm
  • Run by midwives. Appointments only.
First Point of Contact 2pm-3.30pm
Midwife available for women who think they may be pregnant or who are in the early stages of pregnancy. To make an appointment please ring Radio Room on 0161 276 6246.

Levenshulme Lending Library/Story Sacks

  • Story/song, sacks, books for babies, toddlers & parents to borrow for free.

Mount Rd Job Club Wednesday 1-3pm

  • Advice and support, CV writing/application filling, internet access for job searching, interview skills.

The Outreach Workers works in the centre and in the community to help parent with young children under five to know about and access available services. They can also help with 2 year funding, debt management, benefits issues, food bank, school admission etc.
