Level 2 Skill Very Limited Experience

The following is a guide to gain basic technical skills on IBM System Storage in the SMB and Mid-range markets. DS4000, LTO Tape, SAN Switches, and Storage Software are the focus products. This can be adjusted to different skill levels and may change due to education offering and new products. The following walkthroughs may be delivered, one on one, in a small group, or via webinar. Consult with your IBM Business Partner Advocate for assistance and scheduling.

 Quick click through Disk, Tape, iSCSI, SAN offerings on IBM.com Storage Page

 Walkthrough of Reference Materials (see below) – 1hr.

 Tour of Storage College Partnerworld site below (select 2-5 sessions including suggestions below) – 15min.

-Cross train on basic capabilities of TPC, SVC, and Tivoli 1-2 hrs.

-Attend teleconference sessions conducted by BP Advocates on DS4000, Tape, SAN and Configuration Tools

 Schedule DS4000 Base Camp Training with LSI in Wichita – 3-5 days
