POSITION TITLE: Quality Assurance AnalystChild Welfare Data Specialist

POSITION OBJECTIVE

To support Big Bend Community Based Care and its child welfare partners provider network in providing exceptional child welfare services bydefining, creating, automating, and maintaining operational reporting, and analyzing data and identifying trends in performance and practice.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Participating in systemic quality assurance and improvement projects included in Big Bend Community Based Care’s Quality Management Plan..

oTracking performance outcomes

  • Create, automate, maintain and publish Child Welfare performance, risk, utilization and management reports, including: These reports may require detailed technical knowledge of data manipulation and conversion through several different applications.
  • Contract & subcontract measures
  • Agency & provider scorecard measures
  • Agency & provider utilization data
  • Agency risk data sAssess service provision and documentation quality for BBCBC and its sub-contracted service providers based on Florida Statute, Florida Administrative Code, Florida Quality Assurance Standards, BBCBC Operating Policy, and/or Federal requirements.
  • Convert and format data for presentation and publication purposes, including developing graphs, charts, or PowerPoint presentations
  • Develop ad hoc analyses to answer various management questions
  • Manage website reporting of Child Welfare utilization data Collecting, analyzing and reporting data to improve staff performance and outcomes for children receiving services.

Producing quality and Preparing and disseminating data reports that document performance for Big Bend’s Eastern and Western service areas (Circuits 2 & 14) and tracking performance data over

  • Facilitate and/or participate in agency and provider data analytics and quality delivery system projects
  • Maintain the agency Child Welfare data reports repository and reporting documentation
  • Review, evaluate and report on performance, risk, and practice-related agency and provider data Preparing daily, monthly, quarterly and annual reports and presentations for the Big Bend Management Team.
  • Coordinate and work collaboratively with agency Data Integrity staff to address performance, risk, data-integrity, and quality-related provider data deficiencies
  • Preparing and disseminating management reports to assist sub-contractors in meeting performance and quality goals.Assessing and reporting on FSFN documentation quality for Big Bend and its sub-contracted service provideServing as a Florida Safe Families Network (FSFN) data reporting expert for Big Bend sAssist with the development and writing of policies and procedures regarding BBCBC data
  • Participate in quality assurance, improvement and delivery system initiatives included in the agency’s strategic, quality management and operational plans

oProviding technical assistance to Big Bend staff and sub-contractors regarding FSFN and Community Based Resource Information System (CoBRIS).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Advanced pProficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
  • Florida child welfare system knowledge/experience
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting software
  • Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s License, the continuation of an acceptable driving record, and availability of reliable transportation

Preferred

  • Experience with Visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Microsoft Power BI)
  • Experience utilizing Florida Safe Families Network (FSFN)/Business Objects/Crystal Reports
  • Child Welfare Certification

oExperience federal and in child welfare performance measures

oStrong background in statistics, data analysis, and management

oSix-Sigma/Green Belt certification or similar

Experience with the Florida Safe Families Network (FSFN) reporting functionality

Field, data or quality assurance experience in child welfare system

Experience with Business Options software

Experience with web-based survey systems

Skills
