They will analyze the prompt and discuss what “should” have been written.
Students will complete the What-Why-How Chart (handout) for the prompt.
They will make changes to their essay.
Differentiation Offered for Struggling Learners / *Students will be given an opportunity to work with a peer to help make changes to their essay.
Summarizing/Closure Activity
(10 min) / *Students will complete a ticket out the door by explaining argumentative writing.
