Skeleton Athlete Project

Step 1: Design and Decorate your skeleton athlete, then cut and paste your bones together to correctly build your skeletal structure.

Objective: Students will be able to piece together the skeletal structure of the human body

Step 2: Define each bone, describe their purpose (3-5), and find out fun facts (3-5) about each bone listed below: (find a picture for each bone) 3 days

Objective: Students will be able to define, describe, and find fun facts about the major bones in the skeletal structure

Step 3: Create a bubble map by analyzing and evaluating the difference in bone structure between children and adults. For each fact, make sure to give a similar or opposite fact to the other. (7-10) 1 day

Objective: Students will be able to compare and contrast the differences in bone structure between children and adults using a bubble map (create a venn diagram, find one online)

Step 4: Create a bubble map by analyzing and evaluating the difference in bone structure between males and females. For each fact, make sure to give a similar or opposite fact to the other. (7-10) 1 day

Objective: Students will be able to compare and contrast the differences in bone structure between males and females using a map. (create a venn diagram, find one online)
