  • Playing a game, In-Out
  • Interaction is to be done with children onintroducing the new vocabulary of spatialterms, for example, telling smallstories/poems having the vocabulary related tospatial terms with lot of interaction with thechildren.
  • Utilizing child’s experiences outsidethe classroom.
  • Games within groups of children to findhidden treasure by providing clues in spatial terms like on the top of the table but below the book, fish inside the jar,etc.
  • Conduct activities on the finding/identifyingsimilarities and differences in shapes/objectsthat child sees daily in the classroom, at home,playground,etc. Let children conclude thatsome objects roll, some slide, some have corners and some do not have edges ,etc.
  • Collect different things of same shape.

  1. Name some objects which we keep inside the cupboard.
  2. Collect three leaves of any tree and arrange them in the order small, smaller, smallest.
