Grant Reporting Requirements

1.Mid-year Progress Report - Due six months after start of project:

(Narrative of approximately one page)

This should include the following:

·Progress on development of private bar fund-raising campaign

·Involvement of Section leaders or members

·How you plan to publicize the Section’s grant

·Any funds raised to date.

2.Final Report - Due one year after start of project:

(Narrative of approximately one page & budget expenses)

This should include the following:

·Amount raised in first year of campaign

·Involvement of Section leaders or members

·Efforts to publicize the Section’s grant award

·Line item budget detailing expenses of ABA funds and program’s matching funds.

3. The Legal Services Delivery Committee and the ABA Section of Litigation, as a whole, maintain an interest in the long term return on the grant monies which are awarded as part of the JAF Fundraising program. Each awardee of JAF grant funds will cooperate with reasonable requests for information on whether and how much the funds might have benefited your program.

4. The ABA Section of Litigation, Legal Services Delivery Committee will be given attribution at each public event and on literature related to fundraising efforts partially funded by JAF grants.
