Mini One Day Event Dressage will not start before 9am.

Pre entries only - £30per combination (£27 LHPC members) to include medical fee

Entry Form on reverse of schedule. Late entries £35 per combination.

This event will involve riding the Pony Club D Level (Walk & Trot)2012 Dressage Test and jumping both a cross county and show jumping course. The dressage test may be called. Spurs may be worn but you must show your signed spurs card to the secretary or when requested. For dressage test go to click on “Other Dressage Tests”.

Riders must wear an emergency armband (some will be available to purchase on the day) and body protector for cross country. Dressage and Show jumping should be in jacket & tie. For XC Cross Country colours or PC sweatshirts to be worn.

Times will be available on the Ledbury Pony Club website ()from 14thth August after 6pm. Or telephone 07828 637642 on 14thth August between 7-8.30 pm only.

Class A: PC D Level (Walk & Trot)2012 Dressage Test, 1.3ft show jumping and cross country course. This class will be split into 3 sections; led, assisted and unassisted. This cross country course will be within an enclosed and roped area.

Class B: PC D Level (Walk & Trot)2012 Dressage Test, maximum 2ft show jumping and cross country courses. This class will be split into 2 sections; assisted and unassisted.

RING 1: Clear Round Show Jumping

Commencing 9.30amEntry Fee £2.50 per round.

RING 2: Show Jumping Classes

Commencing 2pmRosettes 1st – 6th Entry Fee £6

Class 1Cross Pole Jumping:Separate sections to run concurrently for Lead Rein Assisted. Riders 8 yrs & under not to have been placed in any showjumping unled.

Class 2 40cm Jumping(1.3ft):Riders 10 & under.Helper may be in the ring to assist but may

NOT hold the pony

Class 3 45cm Jumping (1ft 6):Riders 12 & under unassisted.

Class4 Horse and Hound:Horse and rider to jump a course of 45cm jumps then get off and run their dog over a course of jumps, the whole course will be timed.

The next two classes are qualifying classes for the Area 9 Show Jumping Championships at Rectory Farm on Sunday 6th September. Jump a double clear in any class and collect a Qualifying Card, have it signed by you Branch DC and send to the Championships entry secretary.

Class 5 50cm Jumping (1.7ft) Riders 12 & under unassisted

Class 6 60cm Jumping (2ft) Riders 12 & under unassisted

GYMKHANA

Commencing at 2.30pm

Each class comprises of 5 races - £10 per set of races or £2.50 per race.

Rosettes to 6th place.

The races are bending, sweet race, ride and run, walk and trot (for class 9 and 10 this will include canter), cup/potato race. Races may be varied at the discretion of the judge.

Class 7 5 years and under, to be led

Class 87 years and under, to be led.

Class 9 9 years and under, may be assisted.

Class 10 12 years and under un-led

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

1The Judges decision is final.

2All classes to be run under Pony Club rules.

3Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers, nor any person acting on their behalf accepts any liability for any loss damage accident, injury or illness to horses, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. The organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organiser and all the Officials and Stewards.

4Hats to BSEN1384, PAS 015, AS/NZS 3838 1998 / 2003 or Snell E2001 with chinstrap fastened MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES WHEN MOUNTED. Pony Club Members must have hats tagged with official Pony Club tag prior to the event.

5BACK PROTECTORS AND MEDICAL ARMBANDS MUST BE WORN FOR CROSS COUNTRY.

6Ages as at 1st January 2015.

7Spurs are only allowed with DC permission.

8All children competing in the ODE or show jumping must have attained their 4th birthday by the 1st January 2015.

9Horses and Ponies must be 4 years old and over.

6The committee will not be responsible for any loss or injury to any person, property or animal howsoever caused.

7Any objections must be handed to the secretary in writing within 30 minutes of the incident together with a deposit of £20 which will be returned if the objection is sustained.

7No cantering allowed around showground, warming up should take place in the appropriate area.

8Refunds will only be given on receipt of a valid veterinary/doctor’s certificate.

9The committee reserves the right to cancel or alter any classes.
