- Open PowerPoint.
2.Select a Design theme of your choice.
3.Click the title placeholder and type Seven Wonders of the World. If needed, change the font size of the title so it fits on one line.
Do not press the enter key at the end of World. Pressing the Enter key will
move the cursor to another line in the paragraph of the Click to add title placeholder.
4.Add the subtitle Presented by and then press the Enter key. Type Your Name (type your actual name). Change the font size of the subtitle to 40. Italicize your name.
5.Save this presentation as: Last Name, First Name, PPT Activity 2.
6. Add a new slide by clicking on the paper with a starburst in the Slides group in the Home tab.The default layout of the new slide will be a Title and Content slide.
7.Once again, enter Seven Wonders of the World in the title placeholder. Do not press Enter.
8.Click in the add text placeholder and type the following bulleted list:
Pyramids of Egypt
Hanging Gardens of Babylon
Statue of Zeus at Olympia
Temple of Artemis at Ephesus
Mausoleum at Halicarnassus
Colossus of Rhodes
Pharos of Alexandria.
9.Edit the title on the bulleted list slide by deleting the word Seven and inserting the word Ancient before Wonders.
10. Add two new slides and include the following information:

Bullet = Egypt
Increase Indent Bullet= Pyramids of Egypt
= Pharoahs of Alexandria
Bullet = Turkey
Increase Indent Bullet = Temple of Artemis at Ephesus
= Mausoleum at Halicarnassus
Slide4Title =Locations
Bullet = Iraq
Increase Indent Bullet= Hanging Gardens of Babylon
Bullet = Greece
Increase Indent Bullet = The Statue of Zeus at Olympia
= Colossus of Rhodes
11.Resave your presentation.
12.Insert a new slide after slide 4. Apply the Blank layout to this slide by clicking on Layout in the Slides group.There should be no placeholders on this slide.
13.Insert a horizontal scroll shape from the Insert tab – Illustrations group. This is found in the Stars and Banners section - click on the Horizontal Scroll shape then use your mouse to draw a scroll approximately 2 inches high by 3 inches wide. Make sure the shape is selected then click on the Drawing Format tab and make sure the size is 2” high and 3” wide.
14.Move the shape so it is positioned in the middle of the slide. To do this, position the mouse pointer on the shape until the pointer displays with a four-headed arrow. Drag the image to the position and then release the mouse button.
15.With the shape selected, type the following:

16. With the shape still selected, click the Shape Quick Styles button in the Drawing group to display the Quick Styles gallery. Select a Subtle effect style in a color that compliments your design.
17. Insert a New Slide before the previous slide and apply the Title and Content layout. Delete the Title placeholder and the bullet.
18.On the Insert tab – Illustration group – click on Online Pictures and search Office Online for travel pictures. Browse through the results and click on one to insert it.
19.Increase the size of the clip art by dragging the bottom right sizing handle down to the right until the image is approx. 5” high by 5” wide.
20.Move the clip art so it is positioned in the middle of the slide.
21.Apply an animation scheme to the clip art by clicking the Animations tab on the Ribbon. Then click Add Animation in the Add Animations group - Select an Entrance animation.
22.To add slide transitions to your slide show, click on the Transitions tab on the Ribbon. In the Transition to This Slide group, select one of them.
23.Click on the Apply to All button.
24.On the Location slides prepared earlier – search for and add a picture on each slide that are appropriate to help illustrate the location slide. Add animations to the pictures, one Exit animation and one Emphasis animation.
25.Resave the presentation.
26.Send both PPT Act 1 and PPT Act 2 into the Teacher Fold
