8th GRADE FIELD TRIP TO REUNION RANCH – June 3, 2015
The entire 8th grade class will be going to Reunion Ranch, near Georgetown. It is an outside facility with fun activities. A swimming pool is available with a lifeguard on duty. Buses will leave at approximately 9:00 a.m. and return around 3:00 p.m. The cost for this trip will be $10.00 per student. This includes the bus ride, lunch, and unlimited water and soda.
There are, however, requirements that the students must meet in order to go to Reunion Ranch. These were previously explained to the students in March 2015. They are:
¨ A student may receive no more than three (3) discipline referrals between 3/2/2015 and 6/3/2015.
¨ A student may receive no assignments to LEO between 3/2/2015 and 6/3/2015.
¨ Students who have been assigned Saturday clock hours or AM/PM D-halls to make up absences or for discipline must have all time completed by 5/29/15.
¨ A student must have cleared all student financial responsibilities and fines including extracurricular activity fees, library overdue books and fines, textbooks (lost or damaged fines), and cafeteria charges by Friday, 5/29/2015.
If a student does not meet any one of these requirements, he/she will be staying at school on June 3, 2015.
Please return the completed permission slip and $10.00 to the office (Mr. Mihalyo or Mrs. Arteaga, AP Secretary) by May 29, 2015. THIS IS A FIRM DEADLINE.
My son/daughter has my permission to attend and participate in: 8th grade Picnic at Reunion Ranch, 850 County Road 255, Georgetown, Texas 78633 on June 3, 2015
· My son/daughter has assured me that he/she will conduct himself/herself so credit will be reflected upon the school.
· My student has permission to ride the LISD Transportation provided.
· I authorize the Leander I.S.D. representative to:
1. Represent me before any medical institution where it may be necessary to send my son/daughter while he/she is under its care.
2. Give in my name the necessary authorization for surgery in case of any emergency, when medical authorities deem it indispensable.
3. Represent me while he/she is under its custody.
