  • Worked as Mufti of Amman, then Acting Mufti of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and later on he became Grand Mufti of the kingdom, 1992-2007.
  • Scholar in the Fatwa Department since 1985.
  • Participated in many Islamic scientific meetings, among which the muftis, scholars, and mentors course, the higher management course, and leadership courses are the most important.
  • Spoken preacher in the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs.
  • Teacher for Islamic Education, in Saudi Arabia from 26/9/1969 to 14/8/1983.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Sharia from Sharia College, Amman-Jordan.

This discourse was held in Doha, Qatar 13-15/2/1993 and was sponsored by the Islamic Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) in collaboration with the Science College of Qatar University and World Islamic Call Society, Libya.
  • Hearing and Visual Aids and Their Effect on The Educational Development Process, with explanatory video. The research has been conducted for a competition made by the Ministry of Education in Saudi Arabia, 1982, and has won.
  • A research on smoking prepared for the Anti-Smoking Society.

  • The Islamic Dialogue (2006) in Tunisia, with the participation of Japan.
  • Invited by the International Islamic Centre for Demographic Studies and Research to attend the Family in Islam Conference, which has been held with the collaboration of AL-Azhar University, in May 1996.
  • Invited by the Islamic Cultural Centre and Sharia College in the University of Jordan to attend the first conference for the jurisprudential developments of the Islamic bank transactions, during the period 2-4/5/1994.
  • Discourse on Zakat and the Global Zakat Fund, held in the Royal court of Hashemiah and sponsored by Aal Al-Bayt Institute.
  • The 8th session of the Unified Islamic Hijri Calendar Committee; at the invitation of the Islamic Conference Organization, in collaboration of the Ministry of Justice, Jeddah- Saudi Arabia, in 1998.
