  • To provide best practice patient care as a pivotal member of the multidisciplinary hospital team, acting in a position of advocacy for the patient and their family.

Qualifications: /
  • Division 1 Registered Nurse with a current registration certificate

Ensure the provision and implementation of quality clinical care / Organisation successfully accredited by ACHS / Provides collaborative explanations and education to patients during each treatment phase, from initial assessment through to discharge planning

Compliance with occupational health and safety, quality and infection control policy and procedures

Recognises and communicates relevant changes in patient condition to appropriate multidisciplinary team members
Consistently monitor/maintain patient condition and liaise with multidisciplinary team to decide ongoing care and treatment regimes
Attends in-services as required
Contributes towards the organisation being successfully accredited by ACHS
Ensure effective lines of communication are maintained / Well informed staff working in a harmonious environment
