“Lead, Inspire, Make a Difference” Scholarship 2017

Preston Whitlock, in conjunction with Stafford Soccer and the Knutson family, is pleased to be awarding a scholarshipin the amount of $1,500.

All applications are evaluated by an independent committee made up of members of the Knutson family, Stafford Soccer, and a Teacher from Stafford County.

Awardees will be determined by the scholarship committee based on the following criteria:

-GPA: Minimum of a 3.5.

-Letters of recommendation: Two (2) letters of recommendation that will be limited to one (1) page in length. One letter of recommendation must be from a current/former teacher. The second letter must be from a member of the community (i.e. community service leader, coach, Pastor).

-Community service commitment.

-Strength of short essay.

-Participant in Stafford Soccer (travel or recreational) at any point during high school.

All awardees will be required to attend an awards presentation on Wednesday, June 7th, 2017. If you are unable to attend please provide written notice to rior to the ceremony.
