“Las Noticias” graphic organizer

In class ONLY…On a separate sheet of paper, write NEATLY the script using the format below:

Anchor:

  • Introduce the TV channel and yourself
  • Give time and date
  • Talk about the conditions today that led to the disaster or accident (weather, traffic, etc)
  • Interrupt programming for “breaking news” (¡Noticias de última hora!)
  • Ask the reporter to tell what happened
  • At the end, close the newscast after all the information has been reported and thank the viewers for watching (Gracias por estar con nostotros. ¡Hasta mañana!)

Reporter:

  • Introduce yourself
  • Give time and location of the scene of the disaster or accident
  • Tell a summary of what happened
  • Ask the witness or victim who, what, when, where and how things happened (GO BACK AND FORTH WITH WITNESS OR VICTIM ON THIS ITEM. IT SHOULD BE A DIALOG). Ask the Medical Worker about the victim’s injuries.
  • Conclude the report by telling who was the hero of the day

Witness: (DIALOG WITH REPORTER). Answer the reporter’s questions accurately and add details, describe how you helped.

Victim: (DIALOG WITH REPORTER). Answer the reporter’s questions accurately, express your feelings, retell the events from your side of the story, tell about your injuries.

Medical worker: (DIALOG WITH REPORTER) . Explain to reporter the situation. Describe the injuries and the lifesaving measures taken to treat the victim.
