ONLINE CONDITIONS AND GUIDELINES

FOR JUDGES, STEWARDS AND SHOW OFFICIALS

  1. I am an independent person over 18 years of age who will work at the Showground on a voluntary basis. I am fit for the purpose of performing my tasks at the Showground. If I have a physical or mental condition likely to affect my performance I will inform the Coordinator to assign suitable tasks.
  1. I understand that to ensure the integrity of the competitions, I am notpermitted to be intoxicated during the performance of my tasks and I will step aside if the RAS believes my judgement is impaired.
  1. The Duty Roster outlines details of the tasks to be performed by me and I will read through Officials Guidelines and the operational procedures and Health and Safety requirements.
  1. I agree to be responsible for any personal property I bring onto the Showground, and I agree to indemnify the RAS against any claim arising as a direct consequence of my negligent or improper act or omission.
  1. I acknowledge that the RAS operates surveillance cameras for the safety and security of individuals and property in accordance with the Workplace Surveillance Actand the Privacy Act.
  1. In order to run the competitions, I acknowledge that my name may be disclosed to sponsors and third parties directly related to effectively running the competitions. I will not use or disclose any of the confidential or privileged information that I may acquire prior or during completing my duties.
  1. I agree to the Conditions of Entry to Sydney Showground andI understandthat the collectionof money, selling any goods including food and beverage or distributing pamphletsis not permitted.
  1. In the case of Judges, in accepting this invitation, I confirm;
  2. I will not, from the time of acceptance of the position as a Judge, have any immediate family interest(including that of a de-factorelationship or any other living arrangement), financial interest,commercial arrangements or any dealings, whether express or implied with any Exhibit or Exhibitor for the breed or class which I am judging.
  3. Neither I nor an Exhibitor have been a guest in the other’s home within the preceding 6 months.

Special exemption from this rule may be granted in writing by the General Manager, Agriculture & SRES.

  1. I acknowledge the RAS reserves the right to cancel this arrangement with me at any time.
  1. I understand I am a ‘Person Conducting a Business or Undertaking’ (PCBU) under the Work Health & Safety Act, as such I agree to exercise reasonable care when performing my tasks in a way that ensures the health and safety of myself and others. I willcall 9704 1020 in the event of an injury, incident, or near miss incident.
