Inspection Results Summary:
  • 3 x passing places were being installed along the internal haul route at the time of the visit (in accordance with approved details).
  • The cabin/office towards the site compound has been orientated incorrectly and should be moved for compliance with the permission.
  • The land is being sprayed to prevent breeding birds in the vicinity of the counterwall.
  • Hay management is taking place on the bunds to ensure reptile management. Phase 1 reptile trapping is complete.
  • Planning permission ref 11/00778/FUL for the retention of the 20m webcam tower was approved on 16/02/12 by Rochford District Council.
  • A blue cabin has been installed by the generators which is not part of the permitted scheme. This would require planning permission should it be required to be retained.
  • The internal haul route was giving rise to some dust caused by vehicles/plant. This should be carefully controlled in accordance with the approved dust suppression scheme (Wardell Armstrong Nov 2008) to ensure no dust moves beyond the site boundary.
  • The unloading facility in the river is almost complete in accordance with the permission.
  • The radial spreader and conveyor have been installed.
  • Noise monitoring results were submitted following the requirement in the October 2011 monitoring report; however a further report is now due.
