Strategic Goals: SUSTAIN & ENGAGE

ANNUAL FUND/MEMBERSHIP Goal: $385,000 Status: $128,923 (33%) as of 9/16

·  Cash comparison: 2014 - $92,955 2013 - $84,756

·  Annual fund “A Million Trees” campaign package completed and staged for strategic mailing. First mailing 9/30.

·  Major donor visits and tours ongoing. Insider communication sent.

·  Meeting with major gifts consultant: expanding supporter base, increasing capacity

·  Extraordinary Give 2014 ready. 53% of original 2012 EG donors have continued giving.

·  Landview received by supporters – includes annual fund fundraising insert

Discussion: Potential supporter names and strategies from committee. Committee brainstorming led to suggestion for activities targeted to young families, ex. “LCC Campfires for Families”.

DINNER & AUCTION “Dine on Harvest Moon” Goal: $42,000 net Status: On track

WELSH MOUNTAIN NATURE PRESERVE

·  Parking lot on Gault Road in East Earl Twp has made our largest preserve accessible by accommodating school buses and horse trailers; is also handicapped accessible.

·  Handicapped trail marked out– one of the first if not the first of its kind in Lancaster County. Approaching specific funders for help. Spring 2015 completion goal.

CLIMBERS RUN FUNDING

·  Ferree and Shenk Foundations education and operations proposals in preparation

·  Education collaboration schematic crafted to share with partners/funders
