Currently, I am contracted to perform paramedical examinations for life insurance applicants. I go into applicant's home or place of employment, obtain medical history, vitals, blood/urine samples, and/or administer EKG. Over the past few years, I have been contracted through various outside agencies to perform finger sticks/venous phlebotomy, bone density testing, administer flu shots, perform insurance exams and lead health screens at local businesses. It is my duty to obtain samples, process requisitions, centrifuge blood and prepare for shipping.

I would also give discharge instructions to parents and see them off. When needed, I floated to other floors (psych, med/surg, and ortho).
