Director of Nursing, Lakeview Skilled Nursing Facility
Assistant Administrator, Lakeview Skilled Nursing Facility
Summary:
Responsible for the administration/direction of the skilled nursing facilities professional, clinical and clerical services, in accordance with established policies, program objectives, and state, federal and Accreditation Standards.
Responsibilities:
1. Organizes and directs the skilled nursing facilities ongoing functions: maintains ongoing liaison among the governing body, the group of professional personnel, and the staff.
2. Ensures the accuracy of public information materials and activities.
3. Ensures the effective implementation of the skilled nursing facilities budgeting and accounting processes.
4. Reviews and revises and formulates policies and procedures as needed or required.
5. Participates in marketing activities and public relations.
6. Evaluates the skilled nursing facilities overall programs and efficiency.
7. Promotes an atmosphere of mutual respect for all persons associated with the skilled nursing facility.
8. Responsible to control the expenditures of the skilled nursing facility in accordance with established budget policies and procedures.
9. Participates in professional growth of skilled nursing facility staff and acts as a resource for skilled nursing facility staff.
Identifies areas of potential expansion and program enhancement and initiates new programs and services.
