All Projects:

Ceiling paint: #03360, by Cloverdale

Wall paint: #OW134, “It’s a Cream”, by Cloverdale

Wall gypsum board: ½” thick

Ceiling gypsum board: Type X, 5/8”

Fireproofing ‘blue’ paint: #7408 “Sunrise River”, by Cloverdale

Project No.1:All work in Residence

Prettie and Bartley Residences: remove listed asbestos and replace with ‘like’, non-asbestos material, unless otherwise indicated.

Project No. 2:Walls and Ceilings on main campus

Centennial Building (CB), Univeristy Centre (UC), Ryan Building (RB). Remove listed asbestos and replace with gypsum board, taped, painted to match.

Project No. 3:CB4027

Remove existing carpet and replace with Bolyu: Street Art, “Concrete Sparkle” #ST905 and rubber base, by Johnsonite. Clean entire office, as a Type 2. This includes wiping down office contents and furniture, before temporarily relocating furniture. The University shall provide a temporary storage location. Dispose of existing paper backed insulation, which lays on the existing linear ceiling and replace with Toughgard T Textile Duct Liner, by CertainTeed. Coordinate with Physical Plant, as photos are required both ‘before & after’ of the ceiling plenum.

Project No.4:UC1002(A)

Remove asbestos fireproofing in UC1022 ceiling space, which is the ceiling above the upper room/mezzanine, UC1022A. Access is on the second floor, across from the cafeteria. Replace with cementitious non-asbestos fireproofing, painted blue.

Project No.5:UC0037 & UC0037A

Remove linear ceiling and asbestos fireproofing in ceiling space. Replace with cementitious non-asbestos fireproofing, painted.

Project #6: 859 Oliver Road, room #103B

Remove existing window, asbestos caulking, and interior trim. Replace with new fixed windows, by BonnevilleSolutions: vinyl clad pine interior, 1 ¼” brickmould, SOL-R Gain 180 glazing, exterior colour: “Chocolate”. Painted interior MDF trim to match. Rough Opening: 11’-6”wide X 5’-0” high; contractor to confirm dimensions on site.

Project #7:BB1031 Renovation: (Type 3)

1)Remove and dispose of asbestos textured ceiling and existing lighting. Replace with cementitious, non-asbestos painted, fireproofing and a suspended ceiling by CGC: DX/DXL 15/16” Acoustical Suspension System. New ceiling height shall be as close to existing as possible, while allowing for new lighting. New lighting shall be flush mount, standard LED tube fixures. See Reflected ceiling plan.

2)Remove and dispose of existing windows, trim, sill and drapes. Replace window with three, new gazed sections, by Duxton Windows & Doors, Series 658. Glazing pattern shall match existing, combining fixed sections and 3 awnings. Existing rough opening, as indicated on original drawings: 32’-3 ¼” wide X 9’-2 ¾” high. The window is divided into 3 sections, with 2 structural supports at 14’-0” o/c, either side of middle window section. All dimensions to be confirmed by contractor, on site. New trim and sill shall be painted wood.

3)Repair existing, damaged plaster walls, replacing with gypsum board where required.

4)Remove existing interior windows and tile mosaic. Replace with painted gypsum board.

5)Paint all walls and ceiling.

6)New window coverings will be arranged by the University.

Project #8: CB4009 ACM Fireproofing Removal (Type 3)

1) Remove existing ACM fireproofing, existing linear ceiling system and light fixture.Replace with cementicious fireproofing, painted blue, new Toughgard T Textile Duct Liner, by CertainTeed laid on new suspended ceiling by CGC: DX/DXL 15/16” Acoustical Suspension System and flush mount, standard LED tube fixture. Shutting down the air system for this room, involves two fan units. Timely coordination for this removal is required. Patch and paint where required.
