Dance

Hey Lobos, the first school dance is finally here! NextFriday, September 16th is the “Jocks and Nerds Dance.” The ticket price is $5, and the food and drinks areincluded in the ticket. Bring some extra cash, because treatsare available for purchase. There will be a DJ and a game truck. The dance will be in the gym from 3:30 to 5:00.This dance is for La Mesa students only. Tickets are on sale at the ASB window. You must have your ID card to purchase one.

Attendance Awareness Month

If you miss school, you miss out!! September is Attendance Awareness Month. Every week during the month of September, students with perfect attendance have a chance to win prizes. Come to school on time every day and don’t miss out.

Career and College Club

Career and College Club will start NEXT Wednesday, September 14th, at lunch time in room 161, which is in the library.Please bring your lunch, see what it's all about, and have some fun! All are welcome.

Washington DC Trip

Attention all Eighth Graders. Yesterday, you received some very important information regarding our Spring Break Washington, D.C. trip. We hope to see you and your parents at our upcoming meeting on Wednesday, September 14 at 6:30pm. At this meeting you will learn more about this once and a lifetime trip and how you canfundraiseyour way to get there. You can also enter our free raffle to win somecool prizes. Vision Screening

8th grade students, vision screening will be held this Friday, September 9th, you will need to bring your glasses to the MPR.

Patriot’s Day

Because September 11this on Sunday, ASB would like your help in supporting Patriot’s Day. This Friday, in recognition, please wear red, white and blue to school. Show your patriotism in your clothing choices this Friday, September 9th.
