Math Standards

MD 1 I can describe an object by using attributes such as width, height, length and weight.

MD 2 I can compare two objects and determine which has more and which has less of an attribute to describe the difference.

CC 3 I can write numbers from 0-20.

CC4a I can say the number names in order while matching each object with a number name.

CC 4b I can understand that the last number I say is the number of objects I have.

CC4c I can understand that each number I say is one more that the last one.

CC 5 I can count as many as 10 objects arranged in any order.

CC 6 I can describe greater than, less than and equal to.

Thoughtful Ed Strategies

  • Fist List- Visual related fact list. 3-5 times a week, usually reading instruction.
  • Energizers- Liven up, energize, activate and stimulate minds and bodies. 3-5 days a week, usually with counting and reviewing numbers to exercise repetitions.
  • Four Thought- Develop questions from the four styles of learning to assess the depth of understanding of the content. Mastery, Understanding, Interpersonal, Self-Expressive. Daily, in all subject areas.
