Agenda

· Call to Order: 7:02pm.

· Roll Call: Delta Sigma Theta, Alpha Kappa Alpha, Kapppa Alpha Psi, Zeta Phi Beta

· Officer Reports:

o President – received information about possible speaker; has information about next meeting. Will have T. Hill come speak about getting a law degree. There will be pizza. Dr. Thomas will attend a November meeting that will be a round table discussion.

o First Vice – we have a host (John Blaze of 103.3). Currently have one team. Need some other chapter participation. Registration fee is $100 and deadline is October 24th. KU Unity will be performing as an auxiliary group.

o Second Vice – Looking to create a policy to add into bylaws about fighting. Will construct a policy about fighting and alcohol for AFLV for fighting.

o PR – Had an event on September 29th and the Deltas only ones showed up. So we will be rescheduling this.

o Mariam – Good to go for October 29th. Pass out the fundraiser flyers. Still need dues from 4 chapters.

o Secretary – No announcements

· Advisor Report

o Spruce up Rock Chalk Central pages – they are the point for contact for incoming people. Can link face book and other social media stuff. Also every Thursday free training for Rock Chalk Central. On top of that there are extra documents/forms etc. on Rock Chalk Central now.

o Opportunities coming up - Leader shape. 6 day camp Jan 13-18. Please consider going and sharing with members. Applications due October 23, 2014.

o Student Safe Zone training

o Need MIP intent forms from a couple groups

o Some groups have completed community standards tickets

o Step show tickets live – please pub!

· Step Show –

o Only have one organization from Langston – Sigma

o Exec had idea to have chapters perform in the interim between the shows. A stroll or step or something for 2 minutes in between acts. Music needs to be clean.

o Each organization is Required to perform something.

· Old Business –

o Please pay dues

o New budget is accepted and passes on 3-1-0.

· New Business –

o Rasheed Cromwell event with BSU and possibly BMU - We want to cohost the event for next Friday. Still awaiting a time. Hopefully get a flyer out for it soon. It will be in the Burge Union

· Announcements:

o Next meeting we will have a presentation. There will be food. Send Sydney a head count.

o Elections in November. Please have them come to elections and review the positions.
