CLASSROOM ORGANISATION
BE THE BEST YOU CAN BE
To perform at your very best in Business this year you need to:
· Be prepared to have a go and participate fully in all activities – this will often mean listening carefully in class to me and your peers.
· Do not be afraid to ask questions – no matter how silly you think your questions is! Be confident!
· Do your homework.
· Be organized, bring your diary to every lesson, bring correct equipment to class and be on time.
EQUIPMENT
You will need to bring the following items to each lesson
· Planner
· Display folder
· A4 line paper
· Pencil case & Calculator
ASSESSMENT
Formal assessment will include common tests, projects and investigations. It will be your performance in these assessment items that will determine your grade (A, B, C, D or E).
Informal assessment may include observation, mini tests and homework. It will be used in recording to parents and added evidence to support the grade you achieve. Students will be asked to show their tests to parents and discuss their results. All formal assessments will be kept in a folder in the classroom.
CLASSROOM RULES· You must line up outside the classroom before class begins. Under no circumstances may a student enter a classroom without teacher’s permission.
· You must not get out of your seat unless you have been invited to do so.
· You must not call out. Raise your hand if you have something to say.
· You must follow instructions promptly
